Yukon is known as one of Canada’s smallest provinces. This territory has a population of about 30 thousand people, making it the most sparsely inhabited in Canada. Even though it is a tiny and sparsely inhabited region, there are several advantages to living there.

There are many reasons to choose Yukon as a location to call home, including its spectacular natural beauty, a plethora of career choices, an abundance of natural resources, and its hospitable community.

Applicants to Yukon’s Provincial Nominee Program (YPNP) may seek to live and work permanently in the province if they have the capacity and resources to make a meaningful contribution to the province’s economic growth.

The Yukon’s Provincial Nominee Program (YPNP) is the best immigration pathway for all, especially for those candidates who wish to work in Canada. With Yukon’s low population, Canadian employers have been eager to accept newcomers to fill labor gaps within the province making it a quick and easy immigration option for foreign workers.

The YPNP is one of the most straightforward options for foreign workers in terms of ease of application and speed. To be nominated by the province, a candidate must first apply to the federal government for Permanent Residency.

Employers may nominate workers with experience in low- or semi-skilled jobs for permanent residence in Canada under the Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) Critical Impact Worker stream.

The Yukon Critical Worker program is always accepting new candidates all year round. Applicants must submit a joint application along with their chosen Yukon employer to the program to be considered. A typical processing time for a YPNP application is eight to ten weeks.

The candidate will then get a nomination from Yukon if the application is accepted.
