Canada’s child benefit (CCB) gives tax-free monthly payments to families in Canada with children<\/a><\/strong> <\/span><\/span>under 18 to help them cope with the expense of parenting kids who are under 18.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Who is eligible for CCB?

You must fulfill all of the following requirements to receive Canada’s Child Benefit:<\/p>

Parents who have adopted children under their care are not eligible to receive the Canada Child Benefit (CCB). Birth Registration<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Registering the birth of your baby with your province\/territory is one way to get the CCB.<\/p>

Birth registration is often done on paper at the hospital or birthing center. Online Registration<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Mail Registration<\/b><\/span><\/p>

The Canada Child Benefit statement should arrive within 80 days of your application submission.<\/strong> The\u00a0notification will inform you what\u00a0benefits you’ll be receiving\u00a0and how it was calculated.\u00a0<\/p>
